I'm quite embarassed myself to have deserted our blog for such a long time but tonight's visit reminded me of how far we've come...from our very first day together till the day when we spoke to my parents bout getting a place together. The days we've spent together at my hometown gave me a taste of what life should really be - it should be shared with our loved one. I'm longing for the days when we can have our own nest and spend my days n nites together with you. Loving and caring for u just come naturally to me, for you are my darling baby. The nature of your new job, and the fact that we've less time together, put 'US' to the test and it shows that we have to work even harder now to overcome the routine obstacles. My recent run in with my ex aint helping either. Even with all those,i choose...WE choose to believe in each other. We know deep down we both share the common goal - being 'US'. It's a learning point for both of us albeit a painful one. I do believe we have both grown up a fair bit in term of r'ship mentality and understanding. I hope darling u would understand why i take it is so seriously for us to hav a solid foundation. I've never thought they would be so open to the idea of having meals with you, I thought it would be too early as well! PLUS, it wasn't me who suggested having meals together, I just told them you were downstairs, and mum got up to prepare to have lunch with you. :P They're usually pretty lazy people when it comes to entertaining my friends, but you my darling are different. :D I sorta thought our Sunday was going to be a relaxing one, and indeed it was rather relaxing because we were looking at things we couldn't afford (or rather I could not afford). I was really hoping to do some good shopping. MNG and F21 really did it for me though, a total of 6 tops including 2 (or 3) CNY tops really took a whole lot of load off me. My weight gain over the recent months is rather scary, and the thought that I would never wear clothes for slim people freaked me even more. My sleeping shorts are for sleeping! It doesn't matter if it's Bleah or not it's just for sleeping. They're so comfy I can even wear it without my panties.. :P NAT GEO?? You must be kidding me, I did not buy THAT much stuff on Sunday.. :P Your one single purchase of 2 work pants and a top is more expensive than all of my 6 tops added up together! :P Lunch at home, free coffee thanks to your pants and dinner at my place again made it the cheapest we've spent. Apart from our shopping, we only spent money on 1 bottle of evian and car park. That's not bad! Cheaper than our average Mamak meals. But I guess my new camera (it's Michiko by the way ;)) has brought you pleasure as well. Buying me more time to shop, you have Michiko to accompany you while you sit outside the store on a couch. I must say unflattering pictures of me would remind me of how you see me when I shop. :S My bro.. Well he is creative in a sense, but he's also not a very practical person as you would imagine. I think that's the trait you won't get when you've got creativity. Watching DVD at my place with you is so relaxing, perfect ending for the weekend. When I realised that my 2nd appointment was 3:30pm, I tried to get you to come have lunch with me. I mean, I was hoping to be able to, since I was just minutes away from your office/home/possible lunch spots. I'm sorry for being a lil naive/ignorant, as I didn't know you were having an all-important lunch meeting. Tired from all the lack of sleep, driving about town, losing my way, finding my way back again, then go through the interview and feeling nervous yet lethargic at the same time; I did not put it literally to tell you that I wanted to have lunch with you. I told you I would take a nap near my 2nd interview spot and tried to find a nice quiet shaded place to park and rest. You wouldn't believe how much I had to drive to find a spot that wasn't even really shaded or quiet (there was tree trimming going on on the other side of the road). I was just tired and disappointed that I couldn't care less anymore. I set my alarm to 3:15pm and covered my face with my resume folder and fell asleep. I am impressed with how I got to really rest in that short span of 15 minutes, being a light sleeper. Anyway, your call at 3pm (after I napped for 15 mins) came as a surprised. I thought you were giving me a wake up call, which I told you I didn't need one. I was a little frustrated, but you told me you bought me something to eat. That really cheered me up. Really. It warmed me right from head to toe (even though the weather is rather warm already). I was even happier when you told me you got me coffee. But the feeling died down a bit when I had a sip and knew immediately that there was no coffee taste to it. I think it actually turned out better, because I hadn't had any proper breakfast and my stomach was empty. It would be better if I just had chocolate milk rather than coffee, which could upset my tummy and wouldn't be good because my interview was in a couple of minutes time. Even though coffee would upset my tummy now and then, I still love it. So thank you again darling. It was really sweet of you to bring me snacks. I was thirsty by the way, throat has been dry since the 1st interview and I didn't have water in the car.
