Does anyone know what this board game is called?
According to my darling and her beloved friends – this is called the ‘aeroplane chess’. Complicated as it may seem, this game is actually quite easy and fun to play.
For memory sake, i think i should blog bout this game =)
Items required :
1) 4 human
2) Aeroplane Chess board, or printout in this case
(Each step on the chess board is known as a box in this case)
3) 4 token airplanes of each colour (Red, Green, Blue and Yellow)
4) A die
5) Lotsa luck
Objective of the game :
Being the first to get all the 4 planes of your colour from the corner into the center of the board
How to Play :
1) Each player starts with his/her own colour (Red, Green, Blue or Yellow)
2) Each colour will start it off with 4 ‘planes’ on the Base at the side of the board
3) Each player will then take turn to roll the die with the objective of getting a 6 in order to gain the clearance to ‘take off’ from the base
4) Every 6 will allow only 1 aeroplane to take off
5) A roll of the die will determine how ‘far’ the aeroplane will go on the board
6) The aeroplane token will be moved around the board in a clock wise manner till the objective is met
Fly-by
1) Should your token land on the box of your designated colour after a roll, you get a free pass to move on to the next box of the same colour.
2) Should your token land on any of the boxes with the matching colour aeroplane diagram, you get to hyperjump to the otherside of the board
(follow the direction of the coloured dash)
We had fun playing that game in Malacca. If not for the trip, i don’t think i’ll ever get to know about this game.
Yet another example of time well spent with my darling. Nothing fancy or expensive, just plain good fun + great company

Ling, I’m not sure if you realised, but you spelled “dice” as “die”..
Don’t you like this game? I mean, I don’t know anyone who didn’t know this game. You’re the first!
It’s great to see you enjoy yourself that day, although you lost terribly.. (notice your 1 red token at the center of the board as opposed to our 3 tokens already at the center
) I love seeing you being chirpy and laughing all the time, it makes me happy.. 
RM0.80 for a board game to play for a bit past half an hour over some chinese cooling dessert. That’s one of the only times we did get to relax during the trip, much much needed cooling dessert after all the rushing, eating and lack of rest.
Thank you so much for all the driving darling. Perhaps because I wasn’t driving I was feeling sleepy and lethargic all the time while in the car. But I seriously needed more sleep as well, since I can’t sleep when it’s sleeping time, wake up when I’m supposed to be sound asleep and to wake up for work at 8:30am is exhausting. Even though I have been wondering why everyone in our group is watching drama series and all but I have no time for that, I know that spending time with you is much more worth my time than any of those shows.
